Hendricks and captain Dean Elgar put on an opening stand of 149 inside 29 overs and although South Africa A were prevented from reaching 300, with Jack Brooks taking 3 for 55, their total proved more than challenging enough.The Lions were reduced to 92 for 4 in reply, with Rabada removing James Vince and the dangerous Ben Stokes. Bairstow and Patel kept them up with the rate but Elgar brought himself on to remove Bairstow and the last five wickets fell for 23 runs.South Africa A had fallen away in their innings, too, after Hendricks and Elgar had given them a significant platform. Adil Rashid broke their partnership, removing Elgar for 66, before a half-century stand between Hendricks and Theunis de Bruyn. Hendricks’ hundred came off 123 balls but he was the third wicket to fall, bowled by Tim Bresnan, as the Lions reined the innings in. But Chris Morris cracked 35 off 20 to regain the momentum and set up victory at the last.

Após o empate em 1 a 1 com o CSA, no último domingo, o São Paulo se reapresentou nesta segunda-feira, no CT da Barra Funda, para a primeira atividade de olho no jogo do próximo sábado, contra o Botafogo, no Rio de Janeiro. Nesta tarde, porém, apenas os reservas foram a campo, enquanto os titulares ficaram na parte interna do CT para exercícios regenerativos.

Daqueles que jogaram no Morumbi, apenas Toró, que entrou no segundo tempo, esteve no gramado do centro de treinamento. Além dele, Igor Vinícius, Juanfran, Anderson Martins, Walce, Léo, Hudson, Luan, Vitor Bueno, Calazans, Helinho e Raniel treinaram em campo nesta segunda-feira, sem contar os goleiros, que fizeram atividades específicas da função.

Os atletas iniciaram os trabalhos com exercícios focados na parte física, comandados pelos preparadores da comissão técnica do clube. Em seguida, Cuca orientou o grupo para treinar finalizações e cruzamentos, algo que foi cobrado pelos torcedores, diante da falta de gols nas partidas mais recentes. O time marcou apenas um nos últimos quatro jogos.

Depois da atividade de finalizações, na qual os jogadores não tiveram um bom aproveitamento, o elenco foi dividido em pequenos times de três elementos, que se enfrentaram em campo reduzido e traves pequenas, com o objetivo de trabalhar em espaço curto e encontrar soluções rápidas para esse tipo de enfrentamento. Foi a última movimentação do treinamento desta segunda.

Os titulares do jogo contra o CSA: Daniel Alves, Bruno Alves, Arboleda, Reinaldo, Tchê Tchê, Liziero, Hernanes, Antony, Everton e Pablo, além de Pato e Igor Gomes, que entraram no segundo tempo, ficaram na parte interna do CT para realizar exercícios regenerativos para recuperar o desgaste contraído no último domingo. No momento, apenas Rojas está sob os cuidados do Reffis.

No próximo sábado, às 11h, o São Paulo enfrenta o Botafogo, no Nilton Santos, pela 20ª rodada do Brasileirão-2019, a primeira do segundo turno. Após o empate diante do CSA, o Tricolor ocupa a sexta posição na tabela, com 32 pontos, dez atrás do líder Flamengo, e sete do vice-líder Palmeiras.

تعادل منتخب مصر لكرة اليد مع ألمانيا بنتيجة 31-31، في المباراة التي أقيمت بينهما مساء اليوم الجمعة، في إطار استعدادات منتخب مصر لكرة اليد لكأس أمم إفريقيا 2024 بمصر.

وانتهى الشوط الأول بتقدم مصر بنتيجة 16-18، قبل أن يعود منتخب ألمانيا في النتيجة خلال الشوط الثاني لتنتهي المباراة بالتعادل بنتيجة 31-31.

وتعد هذه المباراة هي الأولى للمدير الفني الإسباني خوان كارلوس باستور مع منتخب مصر حيث شهدت المباراة أداءً قويًا من منتخب المصري وسط غيابات قوية في قائمة الفراعنة أبرزهم يحيى خالد وأحمد هشام السيد ومهاب سعيد ومحمد ممدوح هاشم وحسن قداح.

ويتواجد مع بعثة منتخب مصر لكرة اليد في ألمانيا حاليًا عمرو صلاح أمين صندوق الاتحاد المصري لكرة اليد.

وكان الجهاز الفني لمنتخب مصر لكرة اليد قد أعلن قائمته في معسكر ألمانيا لخوض وديتين أمام المنتخب الألماني ضمن استعداداته للمشاركة في كأس الأمم الأفريقية التي تستضيفها مصر خلال الفترة من 19 إلى 29 يناير المقبل.

وضمت القائمة كلًا من: “كريم هنداوي ومحمد علي ومحمد عصام الطيار وأحمد هشام سيسا ومازن رضا وعلي زين وعمر الفولي ومحمد مجدي وأحمد خيري ويحيى الدرع وسيف الدرع و محسن رمضان ومحمد سند وأكرم يسري وإبراهيم المصري وخالد وليد وأحمد عادل و ياسر سيف”.

تحدث أنجي بوستيكوجلو، المدير الفني لتوتنهام، عن إصابة جيمس ماديسون، في مؤتمره الصحفي قبل مباراة وست هام في الدوري الإنجليزي.

ويلتقي توتنهام ووست هام غدًا الخميس ضمن منافسات الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز “البريميرليج”.

وتعرض ماديسون للإصابة في مباراة توتنهام وتشيلسي، وتم استبداله بعد تعرضه لإصابة في الكاحل.

قال ماديسون في تصريحات سابقة إن إصابته تتعافى جيدًا ويأمل في العودة خلال ستة إلى سبعة أسابيع.

وأوضح بوستيكوجلو: “لست متأكدًا من المؤهلات الطبية لجيمس وما إذا كان ينبغي لنا أن نثق في تشخيصه في هذه الحالة، يجب أن نذهب مع ما يقوله الطاقم الطبي وعلى حد علمي فإنه يتقدم كما هو متوقع”.

وأضاف: “كريستيان روميرو متاح، وعاد بابي سار للتدريب، ربما يكون المشاركة غدًا مبكرة بعض الشيء بالنسبة له، لكن يوم الأحد أنا متأكد من أنه سيكون متاحًا”.

وأردف: “ريتشارليسون سبق وشارك لـ 5 دقائق وشعر بتعب جسدي ولكنه متاح”.

وأتم بشأن إيريك داير: “لم يتدرب منذ أكثر من أسبوع ونحن نعمل على حل هذه المشكلة، لذا أفترض أنه عندما يعود سيحتاج إلى بعض الوقت، إنها مشكلة في الفخذ”.

‘Dropped catches costing us’ – Mashrafe

After their 92-run loss to Sri Lanka, Mashrafe Mortaza found it hard to explain Bangladesh’s fielding disaster at the MCG. Having tried a couple of times, he concluded: “Whatever I say will now sound like an excuse”.Bangladesh’s MCG fielding debacle isn’t a new problem. Fielding has never been their strongest suit. As a lower-ranked cricket team, it should be.Mashrafe, to his credit, didn’t actually offer any excuses and if someone really needed to find out his reaction, his facial expression, every time there was a fielding error, should have been good enough. Mashrafe himself suffered one dropped catch off his bowling and another that went between wicketkeeper and slip, during his excellent opening spell.At least the first of the dropped catches would have made a difference. Lahiru Thirimanne’s edge looping towards Anamul Haque at slip was Bangladesh’s gateway towards early advantage, but it was not to be. Throughout the afternoon session, the missed opportunities would make them suffer the ignominy to be only the second bowling attack, after India in 2013, to take only one wicket in a full ODI innings.After Anamul dropped the sitter and Mushfiqur made a mess of the next edge in the ninth over, a pattern emerged. There were several half-stops that gave away a single or a two; throws from the outfield would come in a couple of bounces. There were plenty of chances for run outs with the batsmen attempting a second run but the throw would come in late.This being Bangladesh’s first ever outing at the MCG, the size of the outfield perhaps took a toll on their arms and confused their field placements. Sri Lankan fielders too had trouble chasing after balls in such a big outfield and there have been several such teams who have taken time to adjust to grounds like the MCG. But Bangladesh play regularly on much smaller grounds. Places like Mirpur, Chittagong or Fatullah are about 10 to 15 meters shorter than the MCG outfield if they were used fully, but the growing practice of bringing the rope in for T20 games has made these venues smaller so Bangladesh players are having to throw shorter distances.But there was no excuse for a number of other missed chances. In the 22nd over, Mushfiqur missed a stumping. He has been prone to missing stumpings and caught-behinds. He had a good period between 2010 to 2013 before his standards slipped dramatically last year.Anamul let a drive from Kumar Sangakkara go between his legs at cover. Taskin Ahmed dropped a caught and bowled off the same batsman, diving instead of simply taking one step forward. But Mominul Haque initiated the most talked about farce, dropping a simple chance at point when Sangakkara was on 60; his subsequent run out attempt was not backed up and Taskin, stationed at long-on, was caught by the TV cameras to have turned his back to the action soon after Mominul had dropped the catch.The sloppiness was completed with a botched run out attempt. Dilshan and Sangakkara were in hand-shaking distance in the middle of the pitch but Anamul dithered badly in choosing between a shy at the stumps and a throw to the wicketkeeper before his eventual throw missed it’s target and Dilshan, well short of safety, survived.”We had fielding practice here but whatever I say will now sound like an excuse,” Mashrafe said. “We didn’t do well in our fielding, catching and bowling. I still feel that had we stopped them for around 280-300 or if Shakib and Mushfiqur batted for a bit longer, we might have had a chance. It was a good wicket. We just couldn’t execute our plans.”I can’t give an excuse about the ground but fielding was disappointing today. It’s very difficult to explain but as I said I can’t give an excuse here. We couldn’t and that’s the problem. Hopefully we’ll come up with good things.”In 2014, Bangladesh dropped 10 catches in four ODIs against Sri Lanka, including five in one match when they had reduced Sri Lanka to 67 for 8. When they lost to Afghanistan in Fatullah, three catches went down.Fielding is a reasonable, if not entirely accurate, indicator of a team’s mental and physical well-being. It doesn’t necessarily show team spirit, but the level of enjoyment often translates to efficiency and facilitates brilliance. Although they said plenty of times over the last few weeks that playing in the major Australian venues excited them, there was a major lack of enjoyment at the MCG for Bangladesh in the field.

دحض سكوت ماكتومناي، لاعب فريق مانشستر يونايتد، جميع التقارير الصحفية التي تشير إلى وجود أزمة داخل غرفة الملابس بسبب طريقة عمل المدرب إريك تين هاج.

ويعاني مانشستر يونايتد من سوء النتائج، في الموسم الحالي، سواء على صعيد الدوري الإنجليزي أو دوري أبطال أوروبا.

وظهرت تقارير صحفية مؤخرًا تفيد وجود أزمة داخل غرفة الملابس، حيث فقد تين هاج ثقة لاعبي مانشستر يونايتد (لمطالعة التفاصيل من هنا).

وظهر سكوت ماكتومناي في مؤتمر صحفي اليوم للحديث عن مباراة الغد المصيرية ضد بايرن ميونخ، في الجولة السادسة من دور مجموعات دوري الأبطال.

ويحتاج مانشستر يونايتد إلى الفوز في تلك المباراة، مع تعادل جالطة سراي وكوبنهاجن، من أجل التأهل إلى دور الـ16.

وقال سكوت ماكتومناي في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “ستاندرد” الإنجليزية: “إنها مسؤولية اللاعبين، أولاً وقبل كل شيء، واللاعبون يعرفون ذلك أيضًا”.

وأضاف: “كان لدينا العديد من اللاعبين الرائعين على مدار الوقت، والآن لدينا شخصيات كبيرة في غرفة تبديل الملابس، إنها ليست مجرد حالة كما هو الحال مع بعض المدربين الآخرين حيث كان الأمر سامًا بعض الشيء في بعض الأحيان”.

وواصل: “الأولاد يدعمون المدرب بقوة، وهذا هو كل شيء ونهاية كل شيء، لقد قلت ذلك في العديد من المقابلات الأخرى، وهذه هي الطريقة التي سيبقى بها الأمر، لدينا طاقم تدريب رائع أيضًا”.

وأردف: “يمكن أن يفهم الناس الأمور بشكل خاطئ وينجرفون في ما يفكر فيه اللاعبون وما يقولونه خلف الأبواب المغلقة، نريد فقط أن نقدم أداءً جيدًا لنادي كرة القدم، الأمر بهذه البساطة”.

واستمر: “من الواضح أننا نعرف التناقضات التي لدينا، ولسنا ساذجين في ذلك، لقد تحدثنا عن ذلك كمجموعة، مع الجهاز الفني، الجدول الزمني لا هوادة فيه، لا يمكننا إلقاء اللوم على تراكم المباريات وأشياء من هذا القبيل”.

وأكد: “ولكن بالنسبة لنا، علينا أن نجتمع معًا كمجموعة، ونكتشف السبب وراء عدم اتساقنا في الوقت الحالي، يبذل الأولاد بكل صدق قصارى جهدهم للمساهمة وتقديم أفضل ما لديهم في الملعب”.

Contra o Grêmio, mais uma vez o Timão ficou devendo. Mesmo com uma escalação mais ofensiva, na teoria, os corintianos foram completamente dominados pelos adversários em grande parte dos 90 minutos, e só acertaram uma finalização no alvo aos 20 minutos, com Boselli, que havia acabado de entrar. Dessa forma, a defesa se sobressaiu e garantiu o 0 a 0 no placar.

Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has insisted that he was hard done by the umpires, and though he refused to place the blame for his team’s seven-wicket defeat to Bangladesh entirely on his controversial dismissal in the 11th over, he felt even one wrong decision could have a massive bearing on a game.The incident occurred at a time when Pakistan, having been held back by a 31-ball 17 from Ahmed Shehzad, were crawling at 64 for 1, and in need of a late surge.Afridi, having promoted himself up to No.3, had faced nine balls and scored 12, including a six behind square leg, when umpire Anisur Rahman gave him out caught behind off Mustafizur Rahman, though replays suggested the bat was nowhere close to the ball. Afridi immediately signaled for a review, only to be told that no referrals were available for the game. Pakistan made no formal complaint to the ICC, but Afridi said the officials had taken notice of the erroneous call.”That was not out in my point of view,” Afridi said.”Mistakes do happen as we are human beings but these days games can be changed with one single poor decision and may be a different story. But the ICC is there and they are monitoring and evaluating the umpiring. It’s not just one decision, there are another two and three, but the match referee is there and it’s in their notice.”While Pakistan fans might feel that Afridi could have very well managed a 2014 Asian Cup encore and turned the match around had he stayed for a few more overs, Bangladesh’s captain Mashrafe Mortaza shared a different view.”It has always been like this, that when Shahid Afridi bats for 10 overs, the whole match changes,” Mashrafe said. “But Mustafizur was bowling outstandingly for a debutant. We wanted to use our newcomer when Afridi was at the crease. We were successful in our plan. We knew he would try to hit the youngster. But Mustafizur bowled a beauty to him and we were lucky to get Afridi’s wicket so easily.”If he (Afridi) has said that he was not out, I don’t think we can stop talking about this issue. It is better to take the umpire’s decision. I have always respected the umpire’s decision. They are also humans who make mistakes. It is better to say certain things off the record. If he is complaining, the ICC will deal with it. We have nothing to say about it.”Pakistan, though, on their part had already fallen behind in the game much before Afridi’s dismissal, mainly due to Shehzad’s slow knock, which sucked out what little momentum the visitors had. Shehzad played out 21 dot balls in his innings, meaning that Pakistan could only score 29 in the first five overs, and 24 in the next five.”We didn’t get a good start as their bowlers bowled so well, especially with the new bowler who bowled with variation and exploited the pitch condition,” Afridi said.”I have always said that partnerships are very important and we didn’t capitalise, but still, another 10 to 15 runs on this pitch and the total isn’t that bad. Had the bowlers bowled in the right areas and with variation, we wouldn’t have gone down that easily.”The defeat also meant that Pakistan are now without a win in Bangladesh from four games, across two formats, having already been whitewashed 3-0 in the ODIs. Did Afridi feel luck had deserted the visitors throughout the tour?”You can’t (always) leave your luck on. If it’s on, it’s on, otherwise you can’t do anything but make your fortune yourself,” he said. “There are mistakes, which have to be dealt with, and we must move towards the betterment. There is no need to be disappointed as there are good times and bad times in everybody’s lives. We are assessing a lot of things and you will see that things will improve. I am very positive that the players are here to stay and going nowhere as they are our future stars.”

Sendo assim, o jogador teve sua reabilitação em menos de 20 dias e já está pronto para atuar.

A última partida de Pato havia sido diante do CSA, quando entrou no segundo tempo. Naquele dia 15 de setembro, ele já estava retornando de um edema na coxa direita, que o afastou dos gramados por mais de um mês. Portanto, dos últimos dez jogos do Tricolor, o camisa 7 só esteve em campo em um.

Embora ainda intercalasse o treino em campo e os tratamentos no Reffis, Pato já trabalha com o grupo desde a última semana, quando Fernando Diniz, que já declarou admirar o futebol do jogador, solicitou que ele pudesse participar de alguns trabalhos táticos para que se adequasse à nova forma do time jogar. Dessa forma, quando estivesse pronto, já estaria ambientado ao estilo.

Embora esteja relacionado, é muito pouco provável que o atacante esteja entre os 11 titulares de Diniz para o duelo com o Bahia, nesta quarta-feira. A ideia da comissão técnica é poder utilizá-lo por alguns minutos, no segundo tempo, e já preparará-lo para atuar no clássico contra o Corinthians, no próximo domingo.
