Middlesex’s coaches believe he possesses bags of potential and after a year out of the game his desire to perform is strong. He is delighted to be back in cricket and is keen to show everyone what he is capable of producing.”In County Championship cricket Steven will initially act as cover for Gareth Berg, whose recovery from a stress fracture of the back is positive even though it is a bit slower than everyone expected. Gareth is expected to be fit for the start of the season but we feel we need cover in the allrounder department. Steven will push for a CB40 place straight away. In time there will be occasions where both Gareth and Steven play in the same Championship side.”Crook, 27, was born in Australia and played 35 first-class matches between 2003 and 2009, scoring 1271 runs at 31.52 and taking 59 wickets at 48.16. He played for Lancashire between 2003 and 2005 before moving to Northamptonshire, who released him at the end of the 2009 season.

– كيف تعيش حياتك مع كرة القدم؟

عندما تعيش كرة القدم كمدرب لا يصبح لدّيك حياة أخرى، عليّ أن أشكر زوجتي ولا أعرف كيف هي معي حتى الآن، اعتدت الاتصال على كارلو أنشيلوتي وسؤاله كيف تفعل ذلك؟ أعتقد أن عليّ التغير، لأنه لا يمكنك تمضية 18 إلى 19 ساعة تفكر فقط في كرة القدم.

– متى تغيرت أفكار جاتوزو كلاعب إلى جاتوزو كمدرب؟

بعمر 27 أو 28 عامًا، كنت في ميلان ولعبنا ضد نادي إسباني، كان فريقنا فقط يجري ولعبهم كان تمرير الكرات بشكل عامودي، قلت لنفسي، لماذا وكيف يفعلون ذلك؟ تحدثت بعدها مع بيب جوارديولا، لعدة أشهر، ولأكون صادقًا، لم أفهم أي شيء.

– وما الذي توّصلت له؟

أحب اللاعب العملي، اللاعب المُفكر، الذي يعرف متى يجب عليه أن يضغط، أحب الاستحواذ لكن ليس السلبي، أرى كرة القدم مختلفة الآن عما لعبتها ومع الكثير من مشاهدة المباريات، في سنة تتغير الكثير من الأمور.

– ما الذي تغير منذ وصولك لإسبانيا؟

إذا شاهدت نابولي أو ميلان عندما كنت أدربهما، سترى أننا لا نتقدم لنضغط، في أيامي الأولى مع فالنسيا نحن نتقدم للأمام للضغط.

– ذهبت لتتعلم التدريب من بيب وكيكي ستين.. وفي الأشهر الأولى لم تفهم شيئا من أي ناحية؟

كنت بطلًا للعالم وفزت بدوري الأبطال لكن لم يكن ذلك كافيًا لأكون مدربًا، ولهذا السبب بدأت من الصفر، كان لدّي الأساسيات لكرة القدم لكني لم أكن مستعدًا بعد.

– وكيف تمكنت من الفهم؟

بمشاهدة مباريات في مختلف الدرجات: بدءًا من دوري أبطال أوروبا إلى الدرجة الثانية والثالثة، عليك أن تتعلم الفوز بأساليب مختلفة، في كأس العالم مثلًا كان هناك منتخبات تدافع جيدًا وتغلق الملعب ولا تتقدم بل تعتمد على المرتدات.

– كيف ترى نفسك كمدرب؟

عندما أشاهد نفسي على التلفاز كمدرب لا أحبني، أتحرك كثيرًا وأتكلم دائمًا، لكن لا يمكنني عمل شيء آخر، وقّد حاولت أن أتغير ولم أستطع، أحب أن أعيش المباريات، أتدخل، أتحدث مع الحكام، ومع لاعبيني، وقت التدريبات هي اللحظات الأسعد لي، وخلال المباراة أعيش اللحظة جيدًا.

– أن يعيش المرء حياة مليئة بالتحديات أمر مرهق، أليس كذلك؟

أنا لا أخشى الموت، لكنني أحترمه، لأنني أحب أن أعيش، أفضِّل أن أكون أسدًا على أن أكون قطًا، كما سُئلت في أول مؤتمر صحفي لي هنا، من الأفضل العيش بشغف مطلق على العيش رهينة للحذر والتردد.

– هل تعتبر نفسك صبورًا؟

“لا، لا أستطيع العيش دون التفكير فيما سيحدث، اليوم هو اليوم، وغدًا هو غدًا، أنا لا أعرف التردد، لا يعجبني رد فعلي عندما أشاهد نفسي في التلفاز، لكن عندما يرتفع الأدرينالين لدي أشتعل كالنار، لست ذاك الشخص الذي يهتم بالكاميرات التي تراقبه، أنا هكذا”.

– أي لاعب حالي يشبهك؟

مر وقت طويل لم أر لاعب يشبهني، لكنني رأيته في المونديال، سفيان أمرابط، كنت متحمسًا للغاية، كان كأنه أنا عندما كنت بعمر الـ 27″.

– ما هو الشيء الذي لا تغفره للاعب كرة قدم؟

من لا يحترم عمله، عندما أتكلم معهم، أوضح لهم أن علينا مسؤولية، فإن كان هناك لاعبان أو ثلاثة لا يقومون بذلك، فإن التدريب سيسير بشكل سيء، عندما أعلن انطلاق التدريب أريد رؤية فريق يعطي كل ما لديه.

كيف تدخل في عقل شاب يبلغ من العمر 20 عاما؟

بالنسبة لي أنشيلوتي هو أفضل مدرب في العالم لهذا السبب، رغم أنه أكبر بعدة عقود لكنه يعرف دائمًا كيف يدخل إلى عقل اللاعبين بمختلف أعمارهم، وهذا ليس بالأمر السهل، في آخر 3-4 سنوات قد تحسنت من هذه الناحية لأنني في البداية لم أكن أدرك وكنت أعتقد أن على الجميع العمل كما أفعل بإرادتي وعقليتي، لكن عليك أن تعرف مع من تتعامل أولا، على سبيل المثال لدّي ابنة تشبهني، بينما ابني مختلف، لا يمكنني التحدث مع كلاهما بنفس الطريقة، وهذا يشبه التعامل مع اللاعبين.

– أخيرًا.. ماذا كان حلمك في الطفولة وكيف أصبحت بطلًا للعالم؟

أن أصبح لاعبًا كان حلم طفولتي، وبعمر الـ12 تركت المنزل، وحتى إن سارت الأمور بشكل سيء لم أكن لأعود، لا شيء في تفكيري غير أن أصبح لاعبًا، وقد فعلت أكثر من المطلوب، كان شيئًا إلزاميًا أن ألعب الكرة، وإذا كنت قد تلقيت مبالغًا أقل بعشرة أضعاف ما تلقيته، كنت سأستمر في اللعب أيضًا، بالعمل والإيمان بما أفعله، أصبحت بطلًا للعالم، كنت أتدرب 3-4 مرات يوميًا وبعدها ساعة في الصالة الرياضية وبعدها ساعتين مع الكرة، قّد بنيت نفسي وعقليتي، كنت أعرف أنني أقل من الناحية الفنية لكنني جهزت نفسي للتغلب على الخصوم بالعقلية، لقد كرست حياتي لكرة القدم.

Andrew Hilditch will remain Australia’s chairman of selectors until at least August, when Cricket Australia will have the findings of a review headed by the former BHP chairman Don Argus. The former captains Allan Border, Mark Taylor and Steve Waugh will be on the panel that will review Australia’s performance in the wake of the Ashes thrashing.The group, which will have the former ICC chief executive Malcolm Speed as its deputy chairman, has been asked to “understand the causes of the Australian cricket team’s recent performance decline in Test matches and recommend changes to deliver sustained success”. And while that scope could mean making recommendations on the make-up of the selection panel, Hilditch won’t be going anywhere just yet.His tenure as chairman was due to expire at the end of the World Cup, but for the sake of continuity he will stay on until the review is complete. That means Hilditch and his panel of Greg Chappell, David Boon and Jamie Cox will be responsible for choosing Australia’s Test squad to tour Sri Lanka in August, and probably the side that will head to South Africa in September.”Because we have to get on with business, the board will keep the current selectors, they will be doing their normal work [until August],” the Cricket Australia chairman Jack Clarke said. “We’ve got to do contracts, we’ve got a Bangladesh [one-day] series, we’ve got Australia A going to Zimbabwe, we have a Test series in Sri Lanka. All of those will certainly need to be picked before the review comes back. But it is up to the review to come up with things, it is up to the board to make any decision about that.”The panel is expected to report its findings around August, although Clarke said because Cricket Australia did not want to rush things, it could be later in the year. And while it was the Ashes result – Australia lost three matches by an innings and went down in the series 3-1 – that sparked the review, Clarke said all was not doom and gloom for Australian cricket.”We’re still No.1 in one-day cricket and we did have a bad Ashes loss and we lost the Ashes in 2009 as well, not something we’re used to doing and we want to make sure it doesn’t happen again as best as we can,” Clarke said. “It’s just not going to be a witch-hunt, we’re looking forward for sustained future success, we’re not looking with rear-view mirrors.”

O treinador de 43 anos também enalteceu a entrega e a organização de seus comandados, que chegaram, mais uma vez, assim como na final do Campeonato Carioca e da Copa Sul-Americana, a uma vitória nos minutos finais.

-Quem acompanha nossos treinos diariamente, e sou repetitivo, mas a gente treina muito forte. É um treino curto, mas muito dinâmico. Treinamento forte. Os jogadores dão a vida nos treinamentos. Eu tinha um de 30 minutos e reduzi para 24 minutos. Não tem como ir para jogo forte sem treinar forte.

​Há muito tempo, o envolvimento de Marco Polo Del Nero nas falcatruas do chamado Fifagate deixou de ser apenas uma suspeita. É um fato desde que o FBI o investigou e a Justiça americana o indiciou por sete crimes entre fraudes, lavagem de dinheiro e organização criminosa. A decisão da Fifa de bani-lo definitivamente do futebol, portanto, não chega a ser uma novidade.

Era o mínimo que a entidade poderia fazer. O que surpreende nesse caso é que, quatro anos depois de estourar o escândalo internacional de corrupção em que está metido até a raiz dos ralos cabelos que ainda possui, o ex-cartola-mor do Brasil ​continue a perambular livremente pelas ruas, no seu próprio país, sem que a Justiça brasileira ou o Ministério Público Federal se atentem para seus crimes?

O que mais é preciso para que ele seja processado aqui como está sendo lá fora? Que provas mais serão necessárias além dos contundentes depoimentos que o denunciam e as montanhas de documentos reunidos nos EUA, rastreando propinas e recebimentos de favores em troca de benesses na comercialização de direitos de TV?

É vergonhosa a inércia das autoridades brasileiras.

Certa vez, quando lhe perguntaram sobre os processos que também responde nos EUA, na Espanha e em Andorra, Ricardo Teixeira, como todos sabemos, uma espécie de chefão-honorário da trupe que se apossou da CBF nas últimas três décadas, explicou que eles eram a razão de ter voltado a morar por aqui. “Tem lugar mais seguro que o Brasil? Qual é o lugar? Vou fugir de quê, se aqui não sou acusado de nada? Você sabe que tudo que me acusam no exterior não é crime no Brasil. Não estou dizendo se fiz ou não”, disparou numa entrevista à Folha de S. Paulo. Triste realidade.

​Del Nero e Teixeira são sujeitos de sorte. Infelizmente, não estavam no lugar certo na hora certa – aquela manhã de maio de 2015 quando a polícia suiça invadiu o hotel cinco estrelas de Zurique levando presa a cúpula da bandidagem do futebol mundial, o agora condenado José Maria Marin, entre eles. Desde então, Del Nero exilou-se no seu próprio país, com medo de viajar ao exterior e também acabar na cadeia. Para o futebol brasileiro, isso teve um custo alto: a perda de representatividade, de influência nas instâncias internacionais o que causou prejuízos à CBF e aos clubes em competições como a Libertadores. Para Del Nero, contudo, significou muito pouco.

Só a ação do MP e da Justiça brasileira podem aplicar ao ex-cartola a punição que merece. Inclusive o ressarcimento dos prejuízos que durante anos causou ao futebol brasileiro. É isso que a sociedade espera. É isso que já tarda demais a acontecer.

India defeated Netherlands on a sluggish track at the Feroz Shah Kotla with nearly 14 overs to spare though the margin of victory couldn’t mask a lacklustre performance from the home side. The Indian bowling was just about tidy against some dour Netherlands batting, and their bunch of big hitters came unstuck for a while against the left-arm spin of Pieter Seelaar in a low-intensity match.Chasing 190, India raced out of the blocks with Sachin Tendulkar becoming the first man to reach 2000 World Cup runs with a hat-trick of boundaries in the fifth over, and Virender Sehwag backing that with three more fours in the sixth. The flurry of hitting had the Delhi crowd buzzing, and when Sehwag carved Seelaar over extra cover for six and then dabbed him to third man for four, India were 69/0 in the eighth over and Netherlands looked set for a hiding.Seelaar, though, ensured it wasn’t another embarrassingly one-sided match, like many of those involving the Associates in this tournament. He had Sehwag slicing to point, and then dismissed both Tendulkar and the promoted power-hitter Yusuf Pathan in the 10th over to rein in India.Virat Kohli didn’t last too long before being bowled by Peter Borren, but Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh steadied the innings as Netherlands’ limited bowling struggled to make more inroads. They added 40 trouble-free runs before Gambhir was bowled round his legs. It was left to Yuvraj and MS Dhoni, India’s finishers over the past few years, to calmly steer India to victory with a 61-run stand, with Yuvraj getting his third half-century in a row.India would have had a tougher test had it not been for a Netherlands middle-order collapse, which was sandwiched by a solid start and a flourish at the end. On choosing to bat, Eric Szwarczynski, playing his first match of the tournament, combined well with Wesley Barresi to put on 56, equalling Netherlands’ best opening partnership in World Cups. There were only six boundaries in the first two Powerplays but aside from a couple of half-chances, it was easy going for Netherlands.Smart stats

Sachin Tendulkar became the first batsman to score 2000 runs in World Cups. He has scored 432 more runs than Ricky Ponting, who is in second place with 1577.

Yuvraj Singh’s unbeaten 51 was his third successive 50-plus score in ODIs, a feat he has achieved for the second time in his career. He had done this earlier in November 2007.

India won with 81 balls to spare, which is their fifth-best in terms of balls remaining, in a World Cup match.

The 56-run stand between Wesley Barresi and Eric Szwarczynski equalled Netherlands’ highest for the first wicket in World Cup matches. The only other instance when they achieved this was in 1996, against South Africa.

Both India and Netherlands have got only one review right out of seven in the World Cup so far. In today’s match, neither team got one right, though Netherlands tried twice and India once.

Piyush Chawla, surprisingly retained after a horror match against Ireland, finally got the breakthrough in the 16th over with his favourite weapon, the googly, which bowled Szwarczynski after he read it too late. The next dismissal came from the most impressive bowler in the Ireland game, Yuvraj, whose wicket-to-wicket bowling got Barresi lbw.Tom Cooper and Ryan ten Doeschate, two batsmen with career averages in the mid-60s, thwarted India for 10 overs, surviving two tough caught-and-bowled chances but dispatching the odd loose ball served up to put on 35. Netherlands were 99 for 2 after 29, not quite top gear, but the platform was in place for some big hits later on. It wasn’t to be though, as both batsmen were dismissed in successive overs to spark a collapse that cost them 5 for 28.Bas Zuiderent had alerted the world to his talent with a half-century against England in 1996, but of the 16 innings he has played in World Cups since, 12 have been single-digit efforts. Today was another failure for the experienced batsman, done in by Zaheer’s swing.There were a couple of avoidable run-outs as well, but the dismissal that was most embarrassing for Netherlands was Alexei Kervesee’s; he swiped a long hop from Chawla, expertly picking out Harbhajan Singh at deep midwicket.The Netherlands captain, Peter Borren, had spoken of playing brave cricket before this game, and it was his adventurous hitting that lifted his side towards 200. He warmed up by lashing Yuvraj for a couple of powerful fours in the 42nd over, before taking the batting Powerplay and damaging Chawla’s figures with a couple of muscular hits over long-on. Mudassar Bukhari joined the fun, swinging two sixes over the leg side before both he and Borren were dismissed by Zaheer in the same over to wrap up the innings.The win puts India top of the table, but they are through with their easy outings in the tournament, with only South Africa and West Indies remaining in the league phase before the knockouts.Match Timeline

كشف مصدر باتحاد الكرة عن وجود اتجاه لدى مسؤولي الجبلاية من أجل تنفيذ وصية نيلو فينجادا المدير الفني السابق بالاتحاد، خلال الفترة المقبلة.

وتولى فينجادا منصب المدير الفني لاتحاد الكرة خلال فترة تواجد أحمد مجاهد رئيساً للجنة المكلفة بإدارة الجبلاية واستمر حتى أبريل الماضي قبل أن يتم فسخ التعاقد معه.

وقال المصدر في تصريحات خاصة لـ”بطولات”: “اتحاد الكرة يدرس تنفيذ وصية نيلو فينجادا المدير الفني السابق لاتحاد الكرة”.

وأكمل: “حيث أوصى فينجادا في تقريره بتشكيل منتخب مصر مواليد 2008 مطلع عام 2023”.

واختتم: “جاءت التوصية حتى يكون أمام هذا المنتخب وقت كبير يخوض فيه مباريات ودية واحتكاكات دولية استعدادًا لبطولة كأس العالم 2025 تحت 17 سنة”.

-O Rodrigo Dourado tem que se preocupar com o dentro de campo. Demos uma aula de jogar futebol e por isso que ele está falando isso fora de campo – afirmou, completando sobre a expulsão do camisa 99 do Colorado:

– Não entendi o que ele falou para mim, mas é do jogo. Ali ele se exaltou e me acertou uma cabeçada – disse.
