Everton fans on Twitter have been ripping into Alex Iwobi after his lacklustre pass led to Spurs’ opening goal on Sunday.

Indeed, the Nigerian played a very sloppy pass into the middle of the park that was quickly latched upon by Heung-min Son who then played in Dele Alli – who duly put it the ball in the net.

The winger’s mistake cost the Merseyside outfit dearly, and fans were understandably fuming with the former Arsenal man after this incident.

With the Toffees flirting with the relegation zone at this early juncture of the season the last thing they needed was to give away such a soft goal in a game that they could have gotten something from.

Ultimately, Iwobi’s mistake cost his team and perhaps they could’ve won the game if he hadn’t given away such an easy chance.

Everton ended up rescuing a draw late on, but the supporters have every right to be fuming with their player.

وتعرض هاري كين لإصابة في الكاحل خلال مواجهة إيفرتون يوم الجمعة الماضي في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.

وانتشرت الشكوك حول مشاركة كين في مباراة الليلة أمام مانشستر سيتي.

وحسب صحيفة “تليجراف” الإنجليزية، فإن هاري كين بات لائقًا للمشاركة في نهائي كأس رابطة الأندية الإنجليزية مساء اليوم.

وأوضحت أن تقدم هاري كين في تعافيه من الإصابة جعل توتنهام واثقًا من أنه سيكون جزءً من مباراة الليلة.

وأشارت إلى أن المدرب المؤقت لـ توتنهام ريان ماسون، سيجري فحوصات نهائية على كين، قبل أن يقرر ما إذا كان النجم الإنجليزي سيتواجد في التشكيل الأساسي أم على مقاعد البدلاء.

كشف عمرو الدرديري رئيس المنظومة الإعلامية بنادي الزمالك، عن كواليس أزمة حارس مرمى الفريق محمد عواد، مع مديره الفني باتريس كارتيرون، وحقيقة طلب الأهلي تأجيل مباراة قمة الدور الثاني.

وقال الدرديري في تصريحات تلفزيونية لفضائية “الزمالك” عبر برنامج “زمالكاوي”: “عواد حارس مرمى كبير ولا خلاف على إمكانياته، مؤدب جدًا ومنتظم في التدريب ولم نسمع عنه أزمات منذ انضمامه”.

وأضاف: “هو يحتاج للحصول على فرصة وتحدث مع الإدارة وهذا حقه، كان هناك سوء تفاهم بينه وبين باتريس كارتيرون وهذا سبب خروجه من قائمة الفريق”.

وأردف: “محمد عواد غاب عن مران المستعبدين ليلة مباراة البنك الأهلي لعدم علمه بموعد التدريب وهذا خطأ الإداري، عواد أوضح الأمر لكارتيرون والمدرب أبدى اندهاشه جدًا، ووعد عواد بأنه سيكون متواجدًا في الفترة المقبلة وسيحصل على فرصته في التشكيل الأساسي”.

وأتم: “موضوع محمد عواد انتهى تمامًا وسيكون له دور في تشكيل الزمالك”.

وواصل: “كنت متواجد في جلسة مع الصحفيين على السحور برفقة أحمد مجاهد رئيس اللجنة الثلاثية المكلفة بإدارة اتحاد الكرة، وابلغنا أن الأهلي طلب تأجيل مباراة القمة في الدور الثاني بالدوري”.

ومن المنتظر أن يواجه الزمالك نظيره الأهلي، في العاشر من مايو المقبل، وذلك بعد أيام من مواجهة قمة الدور الأول والتي انتهت بفوز المارد الأحمر بهدفين مقابل هدف.

وتابع: “قلت لأحمد مجاهد، أعترض على التحكيم المصري في مباراة القمة الأخيرة، والكلام الذي يقال في الإعلام لأن الأهلي فاز بالمباراة”.

واستطرد: “التحكيم المصري لم ينجح في مباراة القمة، كنت متواجدًا في الملعب، الحكم غير قادر على حماية اللاعبين، كان هناك إهدار وقت مستفز، والحكم لم يتحرك ولاعبي الزمالك جزء منهم متبلدين ولم يتحدثوا”.

واستكمل: “تقنية الفار كانت موفقة في المباراة، تحتاج في الفترة المقبلة إعادة النظر في قرار إعادة التحكيم الأجنبي لمباراة القمة المقبلة بالدوري لأنه سيكون لقاء حاسما على لقب الدوري”.

وأضاف: “رئيس اللجنة المؤقتة أصدر قرار بمنع وكيل كارتيرون من دخول نادي الزمالك، وتم إيقاف التعامل معه، كارتيرون تعاقد مع الزمالك فعلاقة وكيله مع الزمالك انتهت”.

وشدد: “الوكيل يقحم نفسه في أمور لا تعنيه وحديثه عن أمور فنية، تم التنبيه على كارتيرون، وإذا تدخل وكيله في الفترة المقبلة، إدارة الزمالك ستأخذ الإجراءات القانونية ضده”.

واختتم: “بعد ما شاهدناه من لجنة أحمد مجاهد، تعظيم سلامة للجنة عمرو الجنايني، كانوا محايديين وقدموا عمل أفضل في اللائحة، فارق كبير بين اللجنتين، لجنة مجاهد غير محايدة مع الأهلي تمامًا بدأت عملها بتخفيض عقوبة محمد الشناوي، الزمالك لا يحتاج مساندة أحد، نحتاج إلى الحياد والعدل فقط، ميزان العدل لو متواجد الزمالك سيفوز ببطولات”.

A number of Liverpool fans have been reacting on social media to Jurgen Klopp’s verdict on the Reds’ performance against Genk in the Champions League, after watching his side pick up a 2-1 win.

The Anfield outfit had lost their opening Group Stage tie of the term away to Napoli, but have since put three-straight wins on the board to move above their Group E rival and have the knockout stages firmly in their sights.

Goals from Georginio Wijnaldum and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain ensured Liverpool were able to record their third win of the this term’s tournament, and prolong their unbeaten stretch across all competitions that now runs to 11 games.

Klopp’s men were not given an easy ride on Tuesday, though, as Genk fought back to equalise minutes before the break, as the Reds lacked their usual intensity following a number of changes to the starting line-up.

Despite that, Liverpool managed to record 28 shots against Genk having controlled 71.5% of the possession, although only eight were on target, per WhoScored data.

But a win is a win, and that was the main thing for Klopp.

“The most important thing is that we won and nobody is injured,” the German told reporters after the game, according to quotes recorded by Liverpool’s official website.

“The result is because we didn’t finish our situations off like we should and could have done.

“The longer the game goes the more the momentum goes to the other team, if you don’t finish your situations off. I think Ali[sson] had to make one save, once or twice we didn’t really push up in the last line, which meant they could play a pass into the box, but nothing happened. That was the game – ‘job done’ is the headline from the game, pretty much.”

وأصر باراتيتشي على أن وظيفة أندريا بيرلو ليست في خطر على الرغم من نتائج يوفنتوس هذا الموسم.

Karim Benzema has been a huge part of Real Madrid’s legacy and he is definitely a big figure in the club. But his potential departure in the not so distant future could be more than just a hypothetical situation, especially considering Juninho Pernambucano’s latest words on the Frenchman. And if that were to happen, a door would suddenly open for Luka Jovic.

What’s the word, then?

Juninho is currently the sporting director at Olympique Lyon, the club of Benzema’s youth, which was his only home before he joined Real Madrid back in 2009.

The now 31-year-old Frenchman ended up playing a total of 148 games for them, scoring 66 goals and assisting a further 26 in the process.

And Juninho proclaimed that he would love having Benzema back, suggesting Lyon would be a great destination for him to end his career, play for two years and then coach the youth after that, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.

But he also mentioned that the two had already exchanged some messages before so there might actually be something behind his words.

In a situation in which Benzema is indeed allowed to leave, one man would definitely blossom and finally get his chance.

A chance to shine

Jovic arrived at Real Madrid as a high-potential striker for the future.

After all, he is just 21- years of age and already cost them a reported sum of about £53.2m, which could potentially become even higher if certain add-ons are met.

But even though he arrived with certain pedigree and reputation, having previously scored 36 goals and assisted nine in 75 games for his former side, and netting 27 goals and seven assists in 48 games for Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018/19 alone, the young Serbian hasn’t really seen much of the pitch so far.

In fact, he can only boast with 319 minutes across all competitions for Los Blancos, making an appearance in a total of 11 games, scoring once in the process.

By all standards, not really an impressive tally.

That would, however, change if Benzema was suddenly out of his way. With nine goals and three assists in La Liga this season, the Frenchman has been a standard figure in the starting lineup and rightfully so.

But it also came on Jovic’s expense as he was the sole reason for the Serbian’s unfortunate tally.

With Benzema potentially leaving the club in the not so distant future, the 21-year-old could finally get his chance to shine.

Whether Real Madrid should actually part with the Frenchman or not is a story for another time.

Macauley Bonne has been cleared to play in Charlton Athletic’s match against Cardiff City, as reported by London News Online.

What’s the story?

The 24-year-old striker had been forced to pull out of international duty with Zimbabwe due to what he referred to as “unforeseen medical grounds” on Twitter.

He has had cardiac tests since releasing his statement, which have cleared the Charlton man to carry on playing, though he will continue to be checked on.

Charlton’s statement on the matter, via London News Online, stated: “The club’s medical team can confirm that Macauley Bonne underwent some planned cardiac investigations last week following a recent routine cardiac screen.

“The results of these investigations have been discussed with the sports cardiologist and the player will continue to play and train as normal. The club will continue to regularly screen his heart as recommended, as we do with all our players from U15 through to the first team.”

Vital inclusion

Bonne has become a vital player for Charlton, having signed from Leyton Orient in the summer and coming to prominence in the absence of Lyle Taylor.

The 24-year-old has made 8 Championship starts this campaign, coming off the bench twice, scoring 5 goals, including the only strike of the game in a victory against Leeds United.

He has dealt with the step up from the National League to Championship football admirably and he can definitely play his part against Cardiff.

It is uncertain whether or not Taylor will be able to feature in the game, as he looks to make his return from injury, but Bonne should be able to impact the game regardless of whether that is from the start or off the bench.

More importantly though, they will be relieved to know that Bonne is okay and able to carry on with his career without any potential health issues looming over him.

Plenty of Wolves fans have been wondering about the Molineux future of on-loan midfielder Connor Ronan.

The 21-year-old Irishman has been on loan to Slovakian outfit DAC Dunajska Streda since January, scoring two goals in 30 games for them so far.

Having had previous loan spells at Portsmouth and Walsall, he has struggled to break into the Wolves team, making just 13 senior appearances for the Molineux side since his debut in December 2016.
