Cifuentes said: “For the second game in a row, he gets a big impact around his ankle, shin, and calf all this area. He was very painful, so immediately when he went out, he told me that he would try but that he was not feeling very confident. Hopefully, it will just be a knock, and he will be ready for Saturday.”

At least two more fresh cases of Covid-19 have been detected in Delhi Capitals’ contingent, including an overseas player. With Capitals trying to stay in contention of a top-four finish, RIshabh Pant’s side conceded 208 runs in the first innings, after which they lost their last eight wickets for only 45 runs in the chase.For Capitals, it was the seven single-digit scores that hurt their chase. A target of 209 was always going to be steep, but it proved even more difficult in the absence of Prithvi Shaw and a premature end to David Warner’s innings. Every Super Kings bowler enjoyed success on the night, with two-fors for uncapped seamers Mukesh Choudhary, Simarjeet Singh and allrounder Dwayne Bravo, and a 1 for 29 for mystery spinner Maheesh Theekshana.Super Kings’ win took them out of the bottom two for the first time in over a month, and keeps them alive for playoff contention, even though their road to the final-four remains dependent on a huge slice of luck. كشف البلجيكي كيفين دي بروين لاعب فريق كرة القدم الأول بنادي مانشستر سيتي، عن دهشته من قرار النادي بشأن تمديد عقده، مشيرًا إلى غضبه من الوضع الحالي.

دي بروين صاحب الـ33 عامًا، أعلن منذ أسبوعين رحيله بنهاية الموسم عن مانشستر سيتي، بعد انتهاء عقده في يونيو المقبل، دون حسم وجهته القادمة.

وقال دي بروين في تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية: “الأمر لم يستغرق أكثر من نصف أسبوع لحسم كل شيء، ولم يكن سارًا بالنسبة لي”.

دي بروين شارك في 416 مباراة مع مانشستر سيتي، وسجل 107 هدف وصنع 177، بما في ذلك 120 في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، كثاني أكثر لاعب بعد ريان جيجز في قائمة صانعي الأهداف في تاريخ المسابقة.

Enzo Maresca may be ruling his side out of the title race, but make no mistake, his Chelsea side are very much in the mix.

Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Brentford moved them to within just two points of league leaders Liverpool in the Premier League table and the Blues are currently top of the form guide.

A huge part of their success this season has been their fluidity in attack, and they are currently the Premier League’s top scorers with an impressive 37, averaging 2.31 goals per match and failing to score in only 6% of their games.

Players such as Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernández have been earning plaudits for their displays this season. However, it seems one forward’s days could be numbered at the club, with owner Todd Boehly looking to splash the cash once again in a bid to push for honours.

Chelsea lining up Mykhaylo Mudryk replacement

Mykhaylo Mudryk has endured a difficult time since arriving at Stamford Bridge and this season the Ukrainian winger in particular has struggled for form and minutes under manager Maresca.

Mudryk has made just seven appearances for Chelsea in the league and is yet to register a goal or assist, despite scoring three times in the Conference League.

It’s only gone from bad to worse for him too, as according to Sky Sports, Mudryk has also been ‘provisionally suspended’ by the FA due to ‘an adverse finding’ in a urine sample.

It seems that Maresca and Boehly may finally be running out of patience with the winger and according to Spanish reports in recent days, Chelsea are said to be lining up Barcelona winger Raphinha as Mudryk’s replacement.

Raphinha has been in scintillating form for Barcelona this season and has been described by journalist Dougie Critchley as ‘Europe’s best player in 24/25.’

A deal for the Brazilian winger would not be easy for the Blues with Barcelona expected to demand around the £85m mark. Raphinha would certainly give Chelsea yet another attacking option and already has Premier League experience from his time with Leeds.

Brazilian winger Raphina has lit up La Liga and Europe this season, scoring 11 times in 18 appearances in the league and adding a further eight goal contributions in just six Champions League games.

Should Chelsea be able to strike a deal with his current club Barcelona, Raphinha would certainly present as an upgrade on current failing winger Mudryk.

Raphinha clearly leads the way in terms of goal contributions with 11 goals and six assists compared to Mudryk failing to get off the mark in either. It seems the Brazilian is more proactive in the final third too, with 94 more crosses provided and 0.9 goal-creating actions compared to the Ukranian’s 0.

Furthermore, Raphinha’s all-round game would be more refined with a higher pass completion and progressive passes metric, something that would suit Maresca’s possession-based build-up play.

If Chelsea can secure the signing of one of Europe’s most in-form players, it may just be that something extra needed to propel them to their first league title since 2017.

وظهرت تقارير خلال الأيام الماضية، تفيد بأن نونيز لا يشارك أساسيًا مع ليفربول، حتى لا يضطر النادي الإنجليزي لدفع 5 ملايين يورو لناديه السابق بنفيكا.

وأفادت التقارير الواردة، أن ليفربول سيدفع هذا المبلغ، وذلك عندما يبدأ نونيز أساسيًا في 50 مباراة بالدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.

وكان سلوت صرح في مؤتمره الصحفي: “هل تصدق دائمًا ما يقوله الصحفيون؟ ليس دائمًا؟ أنا أيضًا لا أصدق، أحيانًا يجب عليك تصديق ما يُكتب عن اللاعبين، وأحيانًا لا يجب عليك تصديقه، هذا أمر جديد تمامًا بالنسبة لي” (طالع تصريحاته كاملة).

BOM INÍCIO DO VILA NOVA

Fazendo valer o mando de campo, a equipe do Vila tratou de ir para cima do Novorizontino logo nos primeiros movimentos. Porém, apesar de aparecer mais em seu campo de ataque do que o adversário, pouco conseguiu assustar o goleiro Giovanni até meados dos 15 minutos.

Na sequência, a equipe paulista passou a arriscar mais. Sendo assim, criou uma boa chance com Danielzinho, mas a bola acabou subindo mais do que o esperado. Com Allan Aal tendo que promover uma troca ainda na etapa inicial, ao tirar Bruno Silva, que deixou o campo lesionado, para colocar em seu lugar Barba, viu os mandantes neutralizar suas ações, conseguindo voltar a oferecer maior perigo até meados dos 35 minutos, desperdiçando uma grande de tirar o zero do placar com Pablo, que acabou acertando a trave, para frustração do atleta e da torcida colorada.

RETA FINAL DE PRIMEIRO TEMPO

Ditando um pouco mais o ritmo, o time goiano seguia ligeiramente melhor. Entretanto, não muito diferente de como foi durante boa parte do tempo na etapa inicial, o Novorizontino apostava em espaços cedidos, enquanto o Vila arriscava mais de fora, como no chute de Pablo Dyego, sendo esse o último lance dando a deixa para a arbitragem, momentos depois, mandar os atletas aos vestiários.

CONFRONTO EQUILIBRADO

No retorno para a etapa complementar, nenhum dos dois treinadores optou por mudanças. Sendo assim, até meados dos 15 minutos, o panorama em campo era de total igualdade em ações, com o famoso ‘lá e cá’, porém sem exigir muito dos arqueiros.

VAR ANULA PÊNALTI PARA OS MANDANTES

Após promover sua primeira troca no jogo, o técnico Higo Magalhães viu sua equipe melhorar. Sendo assim, aos 16 minutos, após cruzamento de Pablo Dyego, o goleiro Giovanni até chegou a tirar, com o juiz marcando penalidade ao ver um toque de Walber. Entretanto, após checar o VAR, Ivan da Silva Guimarães voltou atrás anulando o lance.

MUDANÇAS POUCO SURTEM EFEITO

Vendo o placar em aberto, os dois treinadores então optaram por algumas modificações, dando prioridade ao sistema ofensivo. Porém, apesar de uma insistência por parte dos donos da casa, mesmo com o gás renovado em campo a bola insistiu em não balançar as redes, parando até na trave no arremate de Jean Silva quase no fim, sendo esse um dos últimos momentos de emoção antes da arbitragem colocar um ponto final na partida realizada no estádio OBA.
